(1) LESHANE1988a, Florence LeShane, LIC Garlands (letter to Wm. J. Garland 
dated 1998-08-26, including attachments, 21 pages.). This is a major source of 
LIC Garland information.  Florence received it from a friend.  Later I received 
the same information again from Bill Grimes who said he got it from Jill 
Marshall.  Jill says she got it from Jeanie House who might have gotten it from 
a Mrs. Bursey.  I then saw it posted on the web by someone else again who quoted 
the source as Bill Grimes.  Apart from improper credit, there is the great risk 
that the doc becomes self-verifying (X must be true because I have 3 bits of 
evidence to support it, when in truth, all evidence comes from the one source - 
hearsay at that!).  Joe Friday was right:  "Just the facts, ma'm".
