When Samuel married Hannah, he lived at 111 Cabot Street and Hannah lived at 38 Lime Street. He was a tinsmith (working for Levi Diamond) by trade. Samuel had a second wife, Alice LeGrow, no children. Samuel died of a heart attack. Lived on Field Street in 1921 (ref M8032). Marriage certificate lists profession as tinsmith. [EFB1980] Samuel was a tinsmith by trade. He loved to work in the garden as a hobby. Also loved animals and kept a pony, a cow, several hens, ducks, a pig, Angora rabbits all as a sideline. He built, with the help of carpenters, a large home at 265 Pennywell Road, St. John's, in 1923. Moved in about 1924 from Field St.
